First Steps
The 1stAnswer main menu is located on top of each site (exceptions are Pop ups). You can navigated to the specific sub areas of the applications through the main menu.
My 1stAnswer leads to the start page.
When you scroll over one of the main points with your mouse (eg. Incidents), the associated sub menu opens up for a few seconds.
If there are more sub menu points on your computer screen that can be displayed at once, then move the mouse towards the left or right arrow of the sub menu.
Logout
The button logout (on the right side) ends your session in 1stAnswer and sends you back to the login page.
<note important>Attention: All Incidents, which have been assigned to you at the time of the logout, will be automatically placed back into the Incident Pool.</note>
Role change
There is a selection list with all assigned roles in the info task (white background)for users who have more than one role in the system.
You can automatically change a role by selecting a different one. The selected role will be saved in the user base and will be automatically chosen as the standard role the next time you log in.
My 1stAnswer
The My 1stAnswer page is the personal Start cockpit of each user. You can reach the main page by clicking on the My1stAnswer logo on the menu task:
In My1stAnswer you can find:
- My Incidents in progress (by the current loged in user)
- My Incident-History (all Incidents which I have worked on or respectively where my user name is listed in the History)
- The newest Knowleadge data base articles
- My tasks
- All my assigned tasks (über den Tab Verantwortlich)
- All tasks, which I have created (über den Tab Erstellt)
Die jeweiligen Detailmasken können aus den Bereichen mit jeweils einem Klick geöffnet werden.
The following actions can be carried out through the “I want to” area:
 | Create new Incident | Opens up a Pop up window with the contact person search for creating a new Incident |
 | Create new Incident for me | Opens up a Pop up window with an empty Incident. The contact person is the current Loged in user. |
 | Search customer | Open the customer search |
 | Search Configuration Items | Opens the search for machines or respectively Configuration Item |
